Classic!

Sorry for leaving you hanging since my entry from last year. If you were still wondering what that camera in the illustration was inspired by, the answer is an Olympus XA2 from the XA series.

These are great little 35mm cameras (from 1975!), and I encourage you to find one, pick it up, and try it out. You won't be disappointed! I own each model, and I have to say that my personal favorites are the XA (rangefinder) and the XA4 MACRO (28mm wideangle).

Polaroid Gallery Exhibition

A few months ago I submitted few Polaroid photos for Instant Gratification: A Polaroid Party Gallery Exhibition. I went with a nostalgic materialistic 1980's theme, so I purchased some expired film (to get the washed out vintage look I was going for), gathered my childhood items, and snapped away. The camera used was an old, partly broken Polaroid One-Step. The whole process brought back a lot of very fond memories. Can you guess all of the items in the photographs?
